Promise.
At Balance Lacrosse we take the mental health of our players very seriously. Being apart of our team gives players the resources to help prioritize their mental health while still performing on the field.
1
Post - Tournament check-in's.
Following each tournament, someone from our coaching staff will personally reach out to each player and perform a check-in with the player. We will do our best to make sure each of our players are in a good place mentally following a weekend of competition.
2
Woman coaching woman.
Our coaching staff is made up of all former or current female lacrosse players. Our coaching staff has been where these players are at one point or another. Not only does our coaching staff help develop talented lacrosse players, but we also provide support to our fellow women lacrosse players using our own past experiences.

Our staff is educated on the signs of abuse, depression, anxiety, stress, body image issues, and more* . We make it a priority to see more than what happens on the field. It's our goal to recognize these signs if presented and get the right people involved.
* Balance Lacrosse staff are not licensed therapists, psychiatrists, or counselors nor will we claim to be. However, we do the best we can to use online resources to educate ourselves on the signs of abuse, bullying, and various mental illnesses in order to ensure the well-being of our players and connect them with the appropriate resources.
